Private schools cost anywhere from $10,000 to $25,000 per child. On top of tuition, you are asked for much more in fundraising appeals. We are trying hard to give our children a comparable education, with the benefits of public school, but at a bargain.
Fundraising ProgramsA great way to make money for our school is to sign up for our fundraising programs. These are cash back programs at certain merchants (Vons, Ralphs, Target, Office Depot and more), where they donate a portion of your purchases to our school.
Fundraising EventsTo raise money for the PTO budget, we hold several fundraising events throughout the year. The most important is the Annual Pledge Drive, which accounts for almost one third of our fundraising. The more we raise at the beginning of the year, the less we have to fundraise throughout the year.
